Terms for DreamKid studio & furniture services

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using DreamKid Studio's services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services.

If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. How DreamKid bookings work

Design Services: We provide comprehensive children's room design services including space planning, color schemes, furniture layout, lighting design, and decorative elements tailored to your child's age, interests, and safety requirements.

Custom Furniture: We design and fabricate custom furniture pieces including beds, storage solutions, study desks, play areas, and specialized furniture for children with special needs.

Installation: Professional installation services for all furniture and design elements, ensuring proper assembly and safety compliance.

3. Project Process and Timeline

Initial Consultation: Free 30-minute consultation to discuss your vision, requirements, budget, and timeline. This includes room measurements and initial design concepts.

Design Phase: 5-7 business days for initial design proposals, including 3D renderings, material samples, and detailed specifications.

Fabrication: 10-14 business days for custom furniture production, depending on complexity and material availability.

Installation: 1-2 days for professional installation and final setup.

4. Payment & refund rules

Booking Advance: 30% of total project cost required to commence work. This secures your project slot and covers initial design and material procurement.

Milestone Payments: 40% due upon design approval, 30% due before installation. All payments must be completed before project delivery.

Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, UPI, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets. All prices include applicable taxes and GST.

Late Payments: Projects may be delayed for payments received more than 7 days past due date. Interest charges may apply for significantly overdue accounts.

5. Design Changes and Modifications

Design Approval: All designs must be approved in writing before fabrication begins. Changes after approval may incur additional costs and timeline extensions.

Minor Changes: Small modifications (color changes, minor adjustments) are included at no extra cost if requested before fabrication begins.

Major Changes: Significant design alterations after approval will require additional design fees and may extend project timeline by 1-2 weeks.

6. Materials and Safety Standards

Material Quality: We use only premium, child-safe materials including non-toxic paints, formaldehyde-free plywood, and certified safety hardware.

Safety Compliance: All furniture meets or exceeds Indian safety standards for children's furniture, including rounded edges, secure fastenings, and appropriate height specifications.

Eco-Friendly Options: Sustainable and environmentally friendly materials available upon request, including reclaimed wood and low-VOC finishes.

7. Installation and Delivery

Site Preparation: Client is responsible for ensuring the room is accessible and prepared for installation. This includes clearing the space and ensuring electrical outlets are available.

Installation Schedule: Installation dates will be confirmed 48 hours in advance. We require an adult to be present during installation.

Delivery Area: Free delivery and installation within 25km of our workshop. Additional charges apply for locations beyond this radius.

8. Warranty and Aftercare

Workmanship Warranty: 2-year warranty on all custom furniture and installation work. This covers manufacturing defects and installation issues.

Material Warranty: 1-year warranty on materials and finishes. Normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage from accidents is not covered.

Maintenance: Free annual maintenance check-up included for the first year. Additional maintenance services available at reasonable rates.

Support: Dedicated customer support for warranty claims and maintenance requests. Response within 24 hours for urgent issues.

9. Cancellations & reschedules

Design Phase: Full refund if cancelled before design approval. 50% refund if cancelled after design approval but before fabrication.

Fabrication Phase: No refund once fabrication begins, as materials are custom-ordered and cannot be returned.

Installation Delays: If installation is delayed due to client unavailability, additional charges may apply for rescheduling.

10. Client Responsibilities

Access: Provide reasonable access to the project site for measurements, consultations, and installation.

Decisions: Make timely decisions regarding design choices, material selections, and project approvals to maintain schedule.

Payment: Make payments according to the agreed schedule to avoid project delays.

Maintenance: Follow care instructions provided to maintain furniture quality and warranty coverage.

11. Limitation of Liability

DreamKid Studio's liability is limited to the total project cost. We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of use, or consequential damages.

We maintain comprehensive insurance coverage for our work and installations. Client's existing property insurance should cover the room and existing furniture.
